Weddings at The Vintage Chateau, Hotel du Village | Iryna Shostak New Jersey Wedding Photographer
Once a turn-of-the-century schoolhouse, the Hotel du Village is the picture-perfect place to host your New Hope wedding. Just an hour from Philadelphia in the Bucks County countryside situated on over 12 acres of farmland and stunning natural beauty sits the perfect boutique hotel to host your wedding.
With 22 wonderfully appointed suites for guests to stay in, getting ready at the Hotel du Village is where the fun begins! Couples really enjoy settling in the day before the festivities to wake up and get ready on-site. Every single room has been remodeled with modern comforts and amenities in mind. The ability to slow the day to unfold in a fun, relaxed environment allows for all the details and moments of laughter to be captured with ease.
Stepping into the gardens feels like walking through the French countryside. The romance of the Hotel du Village begins with the vintage Normandy-style of the main building and elevated by the meticulously maintained grounds. The stone patio with built-in fire pits lead out onto lush grounds, there are several spaces to hold your ceremony on this private estate. Exchange your vows in the courtyard under a canopy of towering, old oak trees.
Two lovingly restored spaces are at the ready to welcome your guests. The Colt Ballroom has been reimagined with modern touches and contemporary options; however, it has retained much of its original charm. The magnificent copper detailed fireplace, which dates back to the 1700s, is a stunning centerpiece of the room. Rustic hardwood floors stretch out beneath several skylights and stunning crystal chandeliers that delicately hang from the 10-foot ceilings of warm-toned wood beams.
Several banks of windows line the room filling the space with abundant natural light, the perfect complement of the warmth of the color tones in the room. Adjacent is a smaller, pre-function space, with a tiled, checker floor, more large windows provide guests a place to mingle with amazing views of the grounds.
The Historic Ballroom is ideal for hosting smaller gatherings, with vaulted ceiling and neutral tones; it’s an inviting and relaxing room. The fireplace and original bar add elements of historical elegance while the large windows flood the room with natural light. In either space, friends and family will enjoy menus created with fresh ingredients from local farms that exceed all expectations.
From the checkered tile floor and picturesque double doors to the rows of tall corn stalks, unique portrait backdrops abound at Hotel du Village. The wonderful architecture and whimsical details throughout the chateau mean that the creative possibilities are endless.
Friends and family will enjoy the white-glove service and outstanding hospitality that people have come to expect from Landmark Hospitality. Experienced “memory makers” at venues across New Jersey, and New York City, I appreciate their attention detail and ability to anticipate issues before they become hiccups in the day. Strong vendor relationships really help create a relaxed environment where every service shines and the happy couple… get to be happy!
