Indian wedding ceremony is full of different traditions. After baraat, the groom's procession, the groom is going to see first time his future wife. Following the ancient customs, the family members hold up a cloth in front of the groom so he can't see the bride as she approaches. The bride covers her eyes with two big leaves so she can's see the groom as well. She arrives sitting on the seat and six strong men brings her to the ceremony site. At this photo there is a moment when the cloth is removed and the bride sees her future husband first time. She is surrounded by her bridesmaids. She is holding two green leaves in her hands which she used to cover her eyes. Her face is full of love and joy. Family and friends around cheer them. This photo is taken with a wide lens because there are lots of people and no space to back up at all. So I am standing right next to the groom capturing the bride's face expressions.
