Bride in Boone Hall Plantation
It is the picture of the bride standing at the gates in front of the main building in Boone Hall Plantation. It was a hot and sunny midday in May. The light was harsh and I used backlighting technique to create this portrait. I placed the bride underneath the branches of the oak tree which diffused the harsh sun light and created some nice shade. I exposed for the shadows on the dress and the light on the background wrapped around the bride's body giving a tender glow to the portrait. I shot with a telelens to make the building on the background look closer and bigger than it was in real life.
